We need your help.

Thank you for visiting The HARD SCREEN [dot] net. If you liked something you read or listened to during your stay, please leave a tip so that we can keep the screens coming. At a time when longtime dedicated journalists like myself are out of work and our field is under attack from society’s upper echelons, reader and listener support is the only way we can sustain our work. If you value nuanced reporting that is grounded in research, years of expertise, and historical and social contexts, please show it by adding to our tip jar. A few bucks will buy us coffee; more will help to offset the out-of-pocket costs of doing business. A donation in any amount is appreciated and will be put to good use.

Sincerely,
